Okay, I'm changing writing journals, no I couldn't even make the one year mark, but we must be close now! A week or so away. But yeah, I felt it was time for a change, and well I only really write certain fandoms anymore and I know a lot of people aren't into them, so you don't have to add me, but anyway I'm moving here:

Experience had taught you to expect yelling, screaming, fists pounding pathetically on your chest; it wouldn’t hurt because he didn’t have much strength in those twig-like arms of his. You thought there’d possibly be some kicking too, if he got the chance.
But maybe you hadn't given him enough credit, because instead of making a fuss it seemed to just drain him. You didn't know if Bert had ever heard the words "I think we shouldn't be, you know, together anymore" before. Definitely not put like that, in your ever-eloquent way. ( But even if they had been said to him before, he still might not have heard the words. )

[sigh, I get their album and listen to it all day, and you gt this. Because Daniel can’t seem to sing if it’s not high-pitched, and because they’re just fucking, okay? Daniel Johns/Paul Mac, r/nc-17 barely. and just coz it was really fun writing in "Paul's voice". I write 2nd person too much, and well, this was a nice change :) ]
Voice of an angel, that's what Daniel likes to quote about himself, and laugh. He'll do the fuckin' quotes with his fingers an' everything. I've got the 'voice of an angel', he'll tell me, and slip down in his chair and give me a long, hard stare, or walk away tucking his hands into his pants pockets so that his jacket rides up and anyone behind him (i.e. - me) can see his ass and the way his hips just do this thing, like he's walking to music, or he is music, you know?
( He's never had a problem proving it to anyone either... )

Summary:
Dedication: _noisenkisses_ for solidifying the idea of writing some Lee-slash, perfectflaws because no-one will enjoy it more than her ;) NO-ONE. [Oh, and for reading it over, not-quite-beta-ing!] and poisonedromance because, you know [everything for her] and because its a really late 2-month fic present which was due on the 23rd :) BUT it is long at least.
Notes: My attempt at going free, writing some BDSM and… Uhhmm, yeah, that's pretty much all it is… Loooong standalone, over 5,500words.
You stare down at the ice cubes melting in your glass and narrow your eyes a little more, until they become little slits you're looking out of at the various transparent surfaces. Each has a slightly different shape, and they cause the lights in the club to reflect and distort in a million and one different ways right within the confines of your glass.
Until something starts happening on the stage, everyone will carry on rushing around in their cattle-like way. While they barge and shove with no real order you can't check out the faces in the crowd properly. You can't size up the punters, work out whether there's any reason for you to stay here tonight.
